<p>Also there's likely some foods that we eat nowadays that our ancestors' stomachs wouldn't be capable of processing (cheese and most dairy products come to mind for those from 1000 years ago or so in Asia, as dairy wasn't necessarily commonly consumed back then in that area, though I doubt that this is the only, or even the best, example).</p>
