I thought I had to hurt her enough to spare her, but that wasn't the case, so I did the same. I have to admit though, Flowey's fourth wall breaking after I reloaded and spared her correctly really freaked me out.

I really stuck there on all her "talking is not going to solve it" and even died several times, but could not even think about hurting her. Thank god I just started randomly pressing everything except FIGHT, and eventually got the result.

I am a sucker for roleplaying, and hurting Toriel... just NO.

Now I wish, even more than I did before, that I had figured out how to end the fight with Toriel peacefully.
