Those "very tiny references" are not simple cameos.They are actually very important parts of the plot since the Swordfish (piloted by Aech) and the Gundam (piloted by Daito) are the main protagonists in a long pivotal epic battle from the last part of the actual film.

I'm fully aware of that scene. The point is though that this poster has none of that. It's just a bunch of unrelated actors with very tiny references to anime.

Pictures are generally judged for their own merit/ontopicness. Just because a movie contains anime elements (yes, I know what scene you're talking about), that doesn't make the movie poster itself any more relevant to this site.

Come on man, this is a poster of Ready Player One... I don't know what made you think it was Danbooru content, but just because something has a mecha in it it doesn't automatically make it on-topic.
