It is basically follows the same rule from Magical Girl Rising Project.

So basically Maple for her "avatar" in the game and her real name for the latter.

Why do people keep uploading images of artists that are banned? Couldn't Danbooru create some sort of software that recognizes when a person try to do this (forcing users to post a source if they want to upload anything) and then making it so that images from banned artists simply can't be uploaded at all.

Being a god has nothing to do with morality. It's simply a label denoting power or one's place in the metaphysical structure of reality.
