No, i don't play gatcha games anymore. FGO came in way too late to EU for that.
I knew about ascension, since it's in every gatcha game, somehow didn't connect that it would apply to new swimsuit servants too.
Then is the one-piece version the ascended?

I guess you didn't play the game? For each ascension (think limit break) they get a new CG and game sprite where its either some minor cosmetic change or entirely different clothings. This doesn't apply to welfare servants of course.

What is funnier is that both ships are linked to USS Nautilus (SS-168). This kind of confusion really happened inside IJN. The mail addressed to Yamakaze was wrongly delivered to Arashi quite often, and vice versa.
