Just looking at FByleth's pose tells you this artist does pooorn.

Not judging it's just kinda hilarious.

I think the artist's screen name is enough of a hint as far as that goes.

I'm kinda surprised she was able to hide that knife. That guard is huge, there's no contour on the human body that could obscure or accommodate it. I'd think it would be easily noticed if they attempted even a half-assed search.

Templates like these are forbidden.

Alternatively, it could just be that they hired someone to knock 'em both up.

Interesting to know. It's just that the Kimura lock is normally drawn with forearm on the inside.

Understandable. It doesn't help either that Rhea's not pressing her arm down on Byleth's back to take proper advantage of this setup, but it could simply be that she's being coy with the training, or that she hasn't gotten around to showing him that part yet in the picture. That said, you do have a point about it being different from a typical Kimura lock. Perhaps a deviation in form? I wouldn't know that, honestly. I just know that the way her arm is situated does make it easier to get a purchase on the back or shoulder, with which to push down.

Rhea's forearm should be under not over...or would that over not under? Urm, guess on the inside works better?

Having been in many sparring grapples myself, I can tell you that as this is drawn, it works. While it doesn't grant quite as much control over the arm itself, it grants a great deal more control over the torso, allowing you to hold them down far more easily. I've been on the receiving end of that move many times myself, lol

I'm pretty sure this is Granblue Fantasy, not Fire Emblem.
*Update*
Okay, that fixed it.
