I've only heard of 3 of the men, and of those, only am familiar with MacArthur. The ship girls are more interesting.

That's some attention to detail here. Not many people remember the Asiatic Fleet existing or that the 7th Fleet was under the US Army's (MacArthur's) command rather than under Nimitz.
