Slow floatplanes, verses a LOT of 5"/38 cal guns....yeah that's going to end badly for the Zuinists.

America didn't play around when it came to anti-air defenses.

Though...where are the pasta-boats? While not all of them are running towards vacation, there are a lot of Italian ships at this base. More so than any other nation that isn't Japan.

Seeing as Atlanta is still being tied up and (possibly) without her riggings. The odds are stacking against her (unless Atlanta proves to be as deadly to aircraft without her riggings)

Perhaps whilst Roma, Littorio, Aquila and Grecale were getting Atlanta's attention and ire, their remaining comrades snuck away to the rendevous point where the French ships took possession of the Fiat, then proceeded on their merry way all together. It seems the Pasta-boats are successfully keeping a step ahead of Atlanta, so far...

One thing that I'm wondering is, concerning the experimental equipment Richelieu has; was it made by the real Akashi and Yuubari, or the Abyssal Akashi that was responsible for the whole mess with Haruna and Kaga being nearly abyssalized? The fake Akashi did escape, after all: /posts/3773002?q=ido_%28teketeke%29

Two of the main plot points that converge in this page were foreshadowed in the third row of this earlier one: /posts/3863007?q=ido_%28teketeke%29
Specifically, the Italian's vacation plans and the rise of Zuiunism. I'm wondering if Gotland has a part in all of this? Maybe she is the mastermind, plotting with the Italians and the French to get what they want, and put her in a position to take what she wants: to be the new dorm manager. And all these shenanigans could be bankrolled by De Ruyter and her tulip bulb/casino enterprises... Gotland's and De Ruyter's presence in that same line may just be red herrings, but I'd bet Ido-sensei has something planned for them yet.

Perhaps the resolution to these plot lines will be the "intervention" alluded to by Warspite in the forth row of that same page.

"UNKNOWN UNIT HAS BEEN CONNECTED" is a parody of Armored Core V's Ultimate/Overed Weapon arming sequence. Tagging appropriately. (Also, the official English translation, although inaccurate, is "Unknown unit has connected.")

26832559...Does it make any sense to you guys? Or ringing a bell about something, probably?

Too long to be an nCode, that's for sure.
