Are there no guidelines on translating onomatopoeia? I mean, sound effects are obviously a no-go unless they bear any significance to the rest of the translation, but what about spoken sounds? For example, here ひっ is technically in a speech bubble, but it literally is just a sound of wind (in this case labored breaths).
