While I don't know the specific context, I can at least explain the mechanics.
In ARK wild dinos have a level cap of 150, and are serious business. The most ideal to tame due to the way tame leveling works, tames can only level up so many times after being tamed, however the level they were at when they were wild becomes the base level for the tamed set. Level 150 wild dinos are VERY strong, and if you're not specifically intending to tame it, having one show up can be a SERIOUS problem.
