I've already done sort of a cleanup on FF and RO classes and converted some gentags into chartags. So here is a list of what I did, and I also have some questions about the rest.

1)Tags that I suggest we make ambiguous like rogue:

hunter (created hunter_(ragnarok_online)
paladin (created paladin_(ragnarok_online), paladin_(final_fantasy), paladin_(world_of_warcraft))
thief (created thief_(final_fantasy), thief_(ragnarok_online))
Actually, I don't know about that one, since "thief" seems a sort of a legit general class to me, for instance moriah from DnD was tagged so. But since I included paladin, probably thief should follow.

2)Tags that I made general alongside with creating tags for actual game classes (or maybe they already existed):

bard (bard_(final_fantasy), bard_(ragnarok_online)
monk (monk_(final_fantasy), monk_(ragnarok_online)
summoner (summoner_(final_fantasy))
blacksmith (blacksmith_(ragnarok_online))
alchemist (alchemist_(ragnarok_online))
chemist (chemist_(final_fantasy))
assassin (assassin_(ragnarok_online))
merchant (merchant_(ragnarok_online))
beastmaster (beastmaster_(final_fantasy)) - not sure about this one
I think these should be general because there are non- Final Fantasy or Ragnarok posts that depict people of the actual professions.

3)There was a confusion between swordsman and swordman. Swordman was actually supposed to be swordman_(rockman). Probably should update the wiki. I also created swordsman_(ragnarok_online) - like swordsman_(sekaiju)

4)I also made incubus a gentag, creating incubus_(ragnarok_online), since succubus is general.

5)There are scholar and puppetmaster. They seem like classes unique to FF series, so I don't really know if I should add "_(final_fantasy)" to them. (Same questions goes to similar unique classes like onion_knight)

6)We have priest, wizard and corsair.
Should any wiki changes be made about how not every wizard_(ragnarok_online)) is an actual wizard, and does the same apply to priests and corsairs?

7)The color mages from FF. I've only checked black, white and blue. There is a blue_mage in Disgaea, and it also is a gentag. Should I convert it and create two separate tags?

8)ninja. I've tagged FF and RO, but maybe there are some more ninja_(* I missed.

9)What is the actual use of warrior tag? I created a warrior_(final_fantasy) tag for the class, so should we just leave it be?

And about races/classes, I suggest that race is a gentag (elf, orc , but hume, elvaan - doesn't make sence), and the class is a chartag.
Phew. I think this is all for now. So, what do you guys say?

And also about the ambiguous tags, I can't just update wikis without consulting. Should we leave bard, thief and paladin?

Since we have a theft tag, I don't think a separate thief tag is necessary for general stealing of things. Maybe thief should be aliased to theft? Of course, we'd want to make sure the RPG class types of thieves have their own tags first, but it looks like you already did that with thief_(final_fantasy) and thief_(ragnarok_online).

Also here's another tag similar to the ones you mentioned, looks like it may need some form of cleanup too: ranger.

By the way, when you're moving tags like these, you should check the deleted posts. You missed two posts under the thief tag and around 30 under paladin. I fixed those.

Yeah, thanks, I did that for some of the tags.

Okay, so someone has to update thief's wiki to explain it's actually theft and not a game class.

Oh crap, now I'll also have to edit list_of_final_fantasy_characters this wiki ._.
So I'm changing hume, elvaan, tarutaru, mithra, moogle,draenei, lalafell, hyur, miqo'te. Are there more character races? I'm not familiar with the ff series.
