Using the Danbooru API, I wrote a tag-guessing game, in the form of a Discord bot.</p><p>When you start the game, the bot links a number of Danbooru images that share a common, randomly-selected tag. Then, she slowly reveals the tag letter-by-letter. Players compete in being the first to find out which tag the images have in common.</p><p><a rel="external nofollow noreferrer" class="dtext-link dtext-external-link dtext-named-external-link" href="https://discord.gg/ZyrkTTS"><strong>Play it here!</strong></a> or <a rel="external nofollow noreferrer" class="dtext-link dtext-external-link dtext-named-external-link" href="https://github.com/lynn/koakuma/">look at the project on GitHub.</a></p><p>Tags are selected from the top 5000 most popular tags, with some bad apples filtered out; <a class="dtext-link dtext-wiki-link tag-type-5" href="/wiki_pages/bad_id">bad id</a> or <a class="dtext-link dtext-wiki-link tag-type-5" href="/wiki_pages/md5_mismatch">md5 mismatch</a> are pretty impossible to guess from looking at an image. Let me know if there’s more tags I should remove from <a rel="external nofollow noreferrer" class="dtext-link dtext-external-link dtext-named-external-link" href="https://github.com/lynn/koakuma/blob/master/tags.txt">this list</a>.</p><p>Anyway, I think it’s an unexpectedly fun diversion. If you have any questions, comments, or ideas, fire ’em at me. (*▽*;)</p> 0xlynn /users/512329
