<p>remove implication <a class="dtext-link dtext-wiki-link tag-type-5" href="/wiki_pages/english_commentary">english_commentary</a> -> <a class="dtext-link dtext-wiki-link tag-type-5" href="/wiki_pages/commentary">commentary</a></p>
</blockquote><p>For what it's worth, I brought this up before in <a class="dtext-link dtext-id-link dtext-forum-topic-id-link" href="/forum_topics/15328">topic #15328</a>. Guess I should've just replied to this thread instead.</p><p>+1 to the removing the implication.</p>Bapabooiee/users/101844tag:danbooru.me,2005:ForumPost/1499022018-08-26T21:15:23-04:002018-10-23T00:25:48-04:00@BrokenEagle98: remove implication english_commentary ->...<p>remove implication <a class="dtext-link dtext-wiki-link tag-type-5" href="/wiki_pages/english_commentary">english_commentary</a> -> <a class="dtext-link dtext-wiki-link tag-type-5" href="/wiki_pages/commentary">commentary</a></p><p><a class="dtext-link" href="/bulk_update_requests?search%5Bid%5D=1783">Link to request</a></p><p>Just encountered a situation where only part of the <u>original</u> commentary was English, however adding the <a class="dtext-link dtext-wiki-link tag-type-5" href="/wiki_pages/english_commentary">English commentary</a> tag adds the <a class="dtext-link dtext-wiki-link tag-type-5" href="/wiki_pages/commentary">commentary</a> tag due to the above implication. It probably shouldn't though, as the <a class="dtext-link dtext-wiki-link tag-type-5" href="/wiki_pages/commentary">commentary</a> tag indicates that everything has been translated, just like the <a class="dtext-link dtext-wiki-link tag-type-5" href="/wiki_pages/translated">translated</a> tag does the same for the image. We don't add the <a class="dtext-link dtext-wiki-link tag-type-5" href="/wiki_pages/translated">translated</a> tag automatically for images with the <a class="dtext-link dtext-wiki-link dtext-wiki-does-not-exist dtext-tag-empty" href="/wiki_pages/english" title="This wiki page does not have a tag">English</a>/<a class="dtext-link dtext-wiki-link tag-type-0" href="/wiki_pages/english_text">English text</a> tags, and likewise we shouldn't add the <a class="dtext-link dtext-wiki-link tag-type-5" href="/wiki_pages/commentary">commentary</a> tag for <a class="dtext-link dtext-wiki-link tag-type-5" href="/wiki_pages/english_commentary">English commentary</a> (or any of the other languages).
