Another question would be: If we alias them, should we alias them to their superhero name or their civilian identity. I think we should use their civilian identity as the primary tag.

In this particular case, I don't think Ivy even has a civilian identity, so this alias would just stop people from putting both tags on the same images for no reason.

For the record, I would prefer we keep a hard separation between civilian "real name" and "hero name."

There's an argument to be made for having separate tags for a comic book character's civilian identity and their superhero identity. Think Bruce Wayne versus Batman, Clark Kent versus Superman, or Tony Stark versus Iron Man.

On the other hand, we're not a site for comic book characters and taggers aren't doing a very good job of keeping these differences straight, so it may be easier to just alias them. In any case, if we're doing this we should be consistent and do it for all Marvel / DC Comics characters.
