Aliasing maid_outfit to maid

Just because someone is in a maid outfit they are not necessarily a maid.

Exactly, and we're not just talking about cosplaying but rather characters that for some reason disguise themselves as maids or get forced to wear a maid outfit because there is nothing else to wear.

I thought about that, but a good chunk of the posts in maid_outfit are of Izayoi Sakuya which might as well have just been tagged with maid. If people want to start using maid_outfit to differentiate characters that actually are maids from characters just cosplaying as them, I'd have no objections to that.

I'm fine with two tags if someone wants to go through and split out actual maids from people who aren't maids but are dressed as maids.

What does it matter if they're really a maid or if they're just in the outfit? It makes no visual difference.

Yeah, I'm kind of failing to see how they're different. We tag based on appearances, so I don't see why it'd matter if a person is or isn't a real maid.

As others said, we would never tag someone as a maid if they weren't in a maid outfit, regardless of their occupation, if even known.

I'd be more inclined to use the _outfit tag since that's more to the point. We're only tagging the clothing. Same for nurse and waitress and similar.

On the other hand it's longer, thus less convenient. And we already seem very well established with maid/nurse/waitress. So I'm fine with aliasing to maid if everyone else is.

just like others said before, we don't differentiate between maid characters and characters just cosplaying as maids. It's unnecessary nitpicking.

I went ahead and did it since we're talking 55 vs ~11000.
