pc98
A lineup of 16-bit and 32-bit personal computers manufactured by Japanese company NEC from 1982 to 2000.
Despite having inferior hardware to the Fujitsu FM Towns and Sharp X68000 PCs, it was popular among the Japanese for it's steady flow of game examples, such as “dōjin” style dating sims and RPGs, as well as the early Touhou games.
