Ugh...brings back memories again of pulling a thigh muscle on those stairs.

Just 20 years ago, when I first found employment, I went on a sightseeing tour on my own, and it was to Matsumoto. After seeing Matsumoto Castle and the former Kaichi Elementary School, I have fond memories of doing a "what the heck" round of game arcades with a friend. :-)

Starting tomorrow, for the next several strips, I think I'll try telling an old story from that time.

FWIW, I didn't eat anything while in Matsumoto. We were only there for a few hours, and moved on to our next stop before having dinner.
