A bit late with the reply, but I thought I should throw my input.

His mind reading is probably the strongest ability in a card game, but it wouldn't be that amazing if it wasn't for the fact that every single character can pull ANY card they want from the deck. Magically. Like. All the time.

Being able to read minds only makes trap cards useless, and slightly hinder strategies of the opponent if you managed to pull counter cards on your own.

Pegasus was an excellent antagonist. I think he and his deck deserve more attention. His mind-reading abiliy is reason enough.
