No I mean, he's not turned towards us, but a bit away - it's just since his shoulder is obscured by the cloak it's hard to tell.

I think you're seeing Doom as being turned towards the viewer, instead of mostly parallel to chrisg? Or the rock he's leaning his arm on.

But he is pointing to something behind him with his right arm, and resting the left one on the throne. That's impossible unless his arm is on backwards (he literally has two left arms), and looks really awkward. Which is a shame, because the rest of the image is great.

I think it's supposed to be like a "Behold" or "Gaze upon what you have wrought" sort of gesture, but the cloak and fog makes it unclear
