That's the interesting thing about having Masami Obari as the director--the character designs in all his works somehow change to resemble his style, despite having different designers working on the same animation project.

6 down, 6 across is Calidad Yamato, Kira's mom (Remember vaguely reading some where that she's actually his biological mom's sister, but I could be wrong).

Added the tag, but wasn't able to change the tag type to Character for some reason.

just to add to her newer roles

Grace O'connor [Macross F]

Also, I totally love her as Manami in Zetsubo-sensei, since it's so rare to see her perform a girlish role, much different than the motherly/elderly woman roles she does on countless other series. Also love her villain roles.

Under the Options menu on the left sidebar, click "Add translation". A transparent box will appear (it may glitch and not appear on the image itself; clicking and dragging the box will fix this). Click and drag it to where you want, and use the little black dot in the bottom right of the box to resize it.
To add the note, hover the cursor over the transparent box. A small blank box should pop up beneath the transparent box; click it. This brings up the note box. Add the text there, then click the Save button.

I found it difficult to add notes here, since there are so many other notes here that it got difficult to make sure I'm clicking the correct box.

How do I add new notes anyway? There are two characters I'd like to note:

1. Most left on the bottom: Tarta from Magic Knight Rayearth.
2. Right to Tarta: Tootie Noorbuck from Super Robot Wars

First row, fifth column is Lobelia from Sakura Taisen in Paris. I also saw the teacher from Onegai Teacher, Seira from Kaitou Saint Tail, the older sister whose name I forget from D4 Princess, Filia from Tales of Destiny, and some other char that looks like they're from El Hazard (though I don't know if she had a role in that show).

Tagging this one looks like all sorts of pointless.
