Same here. Except that I want to have dramatical dark stories based on the ship girls' fate and all. Like somewhat beginning with an intro and some everyday life and easy fights to make us feel at ease with the shipgirls, then slowly(or suddenly) starting to remind us of the war, by starting to sink some, have some epic battles/sacrifices, traumatic memories, and lots of feels. Like some artists depict the girls sometimes. Even more, go through a more complex plot by showing us the Shinkaisei-kan's side too, to make us realize that there is no "bad side" in war(something like that), that they fight also for a good reason etc.

Buuuut we all know the probability of simple SoL is high. Let's just hope we're wrong.
