I hope this trend has nothing to do with people stealing their work for commercial means. I understand that there's been quite a number of such complaints of late, like Yuzuki Gao over PRCs have been stealing her Hoppo artwork for their (often KanColle-unrelated) products.

But even if he decided to drop the game, why close his account?
And I guess he could keep drawing about anything else, not all his works were Elona after all.

Artists closing their pixiv accounts seems to be a trend lately. Last I checked 3 artists that I follow there just closed their account for no reason whatsoever. Also yeah, It's not like we expect him to draw exclusively Elona either.

I'm lurking around just in case he changed his username or something.

I commented on this last batch of images he uploaded on pixiv, and he replied that he is able to keep working on Elona because it really stirs his imagination.
