I can buy Priscilla being a possible grandchild of Gwyn but isn't Yorshka the youngest child of Gwyn's children? Really that would make Yorshka and Priscilla aunt and niece.

Because Gwyn was fighting the dragons and the Nameless King became a traitor by siding with the dragons against Gwyn. Many kings/gods don't take kindly to their kin turning traitor, I'd imagine. Plus the world of Dark Souls doesn't seem very big into the whole "forgive and forget" thing.
