Except, in real life, he didn't.

Hululu x Grape-kun belongs in the pool because nothing explicit happened in real life. Just him courting the cutout of our PPP idol girl.

This is an official artwork. You can't perverse the canon material if it's the canon material itself.

This is actually pretty genus. If you look closely at the shape of the abyssal creature, you will realize it is a corrupted naval mine; the thing that sunk her and Z1 in 1940. It seems Z1 and Z3 distaste of mines is not unfounded even as shipgirls...
