<p>That's a common thing in wrestling, yeah. The heel will have his opponent in some kind of submission or semi-conscience state, and will be screaming at the ref to "Ask Him!" if he gives up, or is even able to respond (TKO if not). Usually just to build up the "dramatic heroic willpower comeback" when the opponent breaks out.</p><p>#WWEFan</p>

</blockquote><p>I don't know a ton about wrestling, but I'm fairly sure "ask him/her" is used when one wrestler has their opponent in a hold, and is telling the ref to ask their opponent if they'll submit. I believe <a class="dtext-link dtext-wiki-link tag-type-4" href="/wiki_pages/chris_jericho">Chris Jericho</a> used it a lot.</p>
