For people that don't get the joke, the lake portrayed here is Lake Hamana. In August 1945 some of the more advanced Japanese tanks were sunk in this lake, including a Ho-Ri and some production model Chi-To's and Chi-Ri's. A search of the lake took place in 2013 but they didn't find anything.

Haha, I can picture this scenario happening in War Thunder, on the "Eastern Europe" and "Jungle" maps. I wonder how many players would actually tell the truth if Gaijin put something like this in as a secret April Fools joke? Would be bloody amazing.

Also the way the IJA officer is drawn makes me think of old WWII cartoons.

*sighs* It appears that I'm having issues adding "imperial_japanese_army" and "japan_ground_self_defense_force" to the copyright tags. If someone could fix those up, it'd be greatly appreciated.
