Not robotic xenomorphs. Regular xenomorphs that have been captured/bred/indoctrinated/trained to fight for humanity. More on that in a bit.

This is actually part of the Aliens comic book series "Aliens: Earth War" (which is actually pretty old, the first issue was released back in 1990... kinda odd to be saying 1990 is "old" and makes me feel old) which takes place after Aliens and LV-426. An infected human pilot on a doomed civilian ship that had an alien breakout ejected and was recovered by a corporation (no, not WY, ironically enough) and brought back to Earth. There the pilot gives birth after having been impregnated by a facehugger... and it's a Queen. The company keeps it on Earth and grows it and many more to study and experiment with. Until one day a crazy cult that had been influenced telepathically by the Queen raids the base and purposely lets themselves be impregnated so that they can spread the outbreak on Earth. Within months billions die and Earth is slowly turned into a Xenomorph ridden graveyard.

Two of the escapees from Earth are some people you'll recognize from the series and they make their way to a remote mining/terraforming outpost where a one General Thomas Spears of the USCM is stationed and he has decided that since he's the last known military authority still operating he's going to retake and save Earth... by utilizing a Queen and her drones to fight the xenomorphs with his own xenomorphs.
And if you thought "There's no way that can end well..." - congratulations, you guessed right.

Amusingly, Stellaris pretty much has this. They're even called 'Xenomorph Army'.

Of course, their armies are rather stupid considering the ludicrously high-tech technologies they possess otherwise, and yet still think that genetic engineering supersoldiers (straight out of Warhammer 40k, at that) or strapping guns onto dinosaurs will somehow be better than just making easily-replaced flying robot drones that can scour the countryside with plasma weapons.

From its cradle as a purely pharmaceutical venture, advancements in our understanding of the morphogenetic field allow for direct, subconscious interfaces with organic units.
