Friend couldn't say for sure which one is which. But as far as art goes, the "parents look too young" is only complaint I can come up with.
vatas /users/375495 tag:danbooru.me,2005:Comment/1699584 2017-05-31T02:38:21-04:00 2017-05-31T02:38:21-04:00 @AyaReiko on post #2737481 (neeko and neeko's mother (original) drawn by aldehyde)
I'm beginning to think Neeko doesn't have any real psychological problems, or at least nothing exceptional. Instead her problem is nerves (that we all had at one time or another) and getting way too comfortable in her comfort zone.
AyaReiko /users/10594 tag:danbooru.me,2005:Comment/1698907 2017-05-29T06:20:36-04:00 2017-05-29T06:20:36-04:00 @Tetsamaru on post #2737481 (neeko and neeko's mother (original) drawn by aldehyde)

NWSiaCB said:

Of course, you could alternately see it as recognizing that throwing the book away would be an admission of defeat, whereas she can maintain the limbo/denial of reality so long as she keeps the book, even if she never opens it.

(That said, the artist probably intends for this to be your interpretation rather than this one...)

Well there were previous pages that stated Neet-chan knows "Something should be done" but then gets stuck back in her lazy habits. Hell, some of the better real life neets out there somewhat are able to get some sort of semi-sidejob on the internet somehow.
