The fighter definitely crash landed with its gear up. You can see the bent propeller blades. Furthermore, the engine wasn't running at the time of the landing, as evidenced by the upper two blades being unbent.

I think a properly secured airbase will disperse the planes behind embankments, limiting the effectiveness of contact-fuzed bombs.

Actually the commentary roughly translates to "base air strike", so this is probably after our air base was raided.

If that's char around the cockpit, then it looks like those fairies came pretty close to getting forcibly ejected by enemy gunfire.
