Foreshortening works very weirdly, all the more so when the lens angle comes into play. </p><p><a rel="external nofollow noreferrer" class="dtext-link dtext-external-link dtext-named-external-link" href="https://twitter.com/ichiup_net/status/870472547145568257">This</a> shows how lens angle can distort bodily length in regards to foreshortening. When that happens, the closer gets longer and the farther gets shorter. The leg here comes in directly to the viewer while the scene takes an unorthodox ant's-eye view, compounding the perceived length because of the distance from the torso. </p> CodeKyuubi /users/81291
