Sadly Z23 was demoted in JP from playable to reward for reaching "stars" in the starter-set reward collection to make way for Ayanami.

To be frank, Z23 is pretty OP-tier Destroyer

What I wanna know is who was there in first, Javelin or Laffey? Or perhaps both were there? If so, where's my sweet Z23? She was my starter ship, kinda sucks how few artworks of her there are.

Out of all 4 the only one I would say often looks like a loli is Laffey, Unicorn is more petite but not always and Ayanami and Javelin are normal, that doesn't mean they aren't cute though.

The one problem I got with this theory is basically all Kanmusus became something akin to FMA homunculis; a ball of human souls that died on the namesake ship got linked by a collective identity of that ship's name and thus assumed new humanoid form.
