To be exact, that side never turn to Earth so we can not observe it on Earth. That's why we call it dark side.

It's not that people dislike you Moon-chan, it's just that your dark side tends to interfere with certain electronics.

That and staring at you during an eclipse is dangerous... even if they really want to stare at you.
