in a number of cases the chinese text already tries approximating the japanese. a comical one is saratoga snubbing being asked to call you "oniichan" - the beta test of the english version of the game had someone just throw the chinese line through google translate, resulting in her declining to call you "leonidoff sauce", which the chinese approximation of "oniichan" seems to translate into somehow.

So I went through the wiki (and Cleveland's character story questline)... and Herada Mitsuru's Cleveland seems entirely different from her canon self (not that I mind). Also for some strange reason the wiki insists on translating all the Chinese kinship terms and honorifics into Japanese.

Oh well, I'm going with Clevedad (克爹) instead of Clevebro (クリーブ兄貴), because it sounds better (and funnier) that way.
