That and also the grind, the paywall also a thing, there's a quite big gap between free players and whale, if you are a free player, it also mean you only able pull a x10 gacha once a month, maybe 2-3 depends how you do on the Abyss, even if they have guarantee in 100 pulls, they still throwing out too much content for all of us to digest, consecutive meta changes, and not have enough gems for anything at all

I gotta say, even with all the promotion it got from anime youtubers, doesn't look like Honkai Impact 3rd took off this summer either.
