The last panel reminds me a lot of Gash (or Zatch for the West) throwing out a Zakeru or Zakeruga, strong Konjiki no Gash Bell vibes right there, especially considering Kiyoshimo has the same vertical lines under the eyes. I'm positive that's a direct reference to it, but I leave this up to the taggers and such.
