I don't think they're all talking to the same person, or are from the same "timeline". Some, like Yu-chan, aren't even talking to anyone but themselves.

Think of it less as a "everyone hates their admiral" series with a linear plot, and more of a "here's what their dark sides look like" series.

Assuming it's the same admiral, all of them hate him, to the point that some images imply that they just out-and-out kill him off-screen. This is the only one so far that implies "affection" on some level.
