Touhou notwithstanding, I'm not aware of any connection between the Fujiwara clan and Kaguya-Hime. It's likely that the choice of name is as intentional as Chika's resemblance to KC Yuudachi.

I was expecting Toyohime for this, but Mokou does a good job pulling it off all the same.
