A friendly message for all new hunters/hunters to be:

You see this fine gentleman here?
Get used to seeing him.
'Cause once the suit and monocle come off, he will become your worst nightmare.
You will curse him and all of his descendants for all of eternity.
You will despise his very existence.
He will laugh as you pathetically flail your weapon, trying to land a single blow.
And time and again he will put you in your place.
He will haunt not only your dreams but every waking moment of your life.
You call yourself a hunter?
Prove it.
Hunt him.
And do not stop until you have his head.
Only then can you call yourself a hunter, for every hunter worth their rank knows that until you are able to fell a Yian Kut-Ku, you will remain a rookie fresh out of training school.

In Monster Hunter 3 (said Tri), the game is set on a different continent to the previous games in the series, and monsters from previous games such as Yian Kut-Ku do not appear. This is deeply mourned by his "students."
