It also mentions that because she so skilled in martial arts, she is a good opponent for testing your skills. It also mentions how it's not really possible to sneak by her while she's sleeping. She will wake up immediately and attack without mercy. (This is likely because of her power to control Qi, which allows her to sense the life force of people and youkai nearby, which essentially means she has good perception too.) It also states that Meiling only sleeps at high noon (siesta).
And as a showcase of her strength, she destroyed a wall of the SDM with an inch punch, so you know Meiling has to be very strong. Since she's a youkai, she is naturally a lot stronger than a human, but she's combining her youkai strength with chi, making it EVEN stronger. The strength she gets might even be comparable to an Oni. Remi is stated to have strength like an Oni, so it really wouldn't be too far off. One important thing to remember is that Touhou is quite vague. So it's okay to make your own assumptions of characters (which is why ZUN said you can create your own Gensokyo). The assumptions are more likely to be accepted if they're based on canon, obviously.
ZXNova /users/424817 tag:danbooru.me,2005:Comment/1193259 2013-09-25T00:42:24-04:00 2013-09-25T00:42:24-04:00 @HindrancUS on post #541556 (hakurei reimu, kirisame marisa, and hong meiling (touhou) drawn by kupala)
"Embodiment of Scarlet Devil - Prologue"
or
"Why Reimu has decided invent the Spell Card System"
HindrancUS /users/364937 tag:danbooru.me,2005:Comment/908998 2011-10-25T17:20:52-04:00 2011-10-25T17:20:52-04:00 @Korius009 on post #541556 (hakurei reimu, kirisame marisa, and hong meiling (touhou) drawn by kupala)
People are taking these fan arts a bit too seriously.
Korius009 /users/176194 tag:danbooru.me,2005:Comment/874203 2011-09-01T07:19:17-04:00 2011-09-01T07:19:17-04:00 @escav on post #541556 (hakurei reimu, kirisame marisa, and hong meiling (touhou) drawn by kupala)

Magus said:
Yeah, but isn't it established that her "manipulation of all boundaries" power includes the boundaries of abstract concepts?
