It seems a lot of people have never played GSC, or they just never bothered with the apricorns. Thankfully apricorns will be returning with HGSS so I get to use fast balls, lure balls, and heavy balls again (though I wish they would replace some of the apricorn balls with more useful ones, seriously who uses moonballs?).

IIRC (and you can just check the Bulbapedia page on the Balls anyway), Level Balls work better on 'mons lower level that the one you're using ATM.

Erm, isn't the friend ball no different than the luxury ball? They both increase the friendship of your pokemon, right? And what the hell is the level ball? Does it act as a daycare or something? If so, then where do I get one (some)??

Ah, I see it now.

The nice thing about the "H" on the Ultra Ball is that it looks like an upside down "U" at any angle other than from above, allowing it to fit both its English and Japanese names.

It's stylized, right "above" to button; it could be mistaken for another reflection.
