<p>The ancient Roman shield on the pool reminds me of gluing Airfix 1.72 plastic soldiers as a child; I bet that statue adjacent is the thunderous old bore Garibaldi; the Victrola recording machine's a nice touch; by the main dining-table there's something that looks like an oval pink gum-ball machine --- never associated chewing-gum with Italians, a purely American invention; the wooden side ladders look rather mediaeval; not sure what they use that metal winch & pulley for, above SPQR --- pasta ?; the gondola's genius...</p><p>There's so much ingenuity to unpack in Ido's Isometric drawings, it's astounding work...</p>
