Agreed [ although i think the distress would have been only for 30 seconds if the person was fast --- back in the 19th century there were many 'cute' posed kitten and puppy postcards, often clothed, which were very dubious indeed. Though considering our present records in farming and vivisection etc. our ancestors everywhere were rarely crueller than ourselves, and they were naturally cruel ].
