Yuuka is a flower youkai. Her motif should be flowers. The artist simply chose to depict her as human to emphasize how terrifying she is among them all.

This pic was drawn before the Unmarked anime fanbook came out so the height were just the artist's guess. Official information in the fanbook stated that Himekawa Koyuki is 153 cm, Sazanami Kano is 172 cm. Snow White is 155 cm, Ripple is 160 cm (without the geta).

In the official fanbook, Endou Asari said that Lazuline was originally supposed to be Mary's daughter (hence the respective mole under right/left eye and leopard/white tiger pattern on clothes parallel design). The idea was scrapped in the final draft though.
