The war could be going so badly that her even if they wanted a rescue mission it wouldn't be possible or if they could do it, it'd be so costly in terms of manpower and resources it'd be insane to do.

Yea it's not the first time it's been noticed. They always seem to be Opping it up when they run. Normal running is far too mundane for them.
