Yeah. Games like Fortnite and Call of Duty have really made gamers toxic and too competitive that they’ve forgotten how to have fun.

To people like myself, I don’t play games to to be competitive and to prove I’m better then some ‘noobs’. True gamers play games for one key thing: fun.

Iwata helped show many what games are truly about, not as a CEO or a developer, but as a true gamer.

Exactly. It's understandably disappointing when literally nobody cares about depicting women as genuinely and romantically in love and we see this. It's depressing to see the millions of "f/f" depictions in media and to know that they are ultimately heterosexual by default. It's to be understood as something they only do because no male is around yet which points to the viewer to fill that void in fantasy.

Let's not jump the gun here. The couple is very sweet but a lot of the focus is on drooling over their bodies and above girl is pretty clearly a surrogate for the viewer. He's definitely doing this for himself because it's hot. That part will always be there

Yeah, seems like it's non-canon from the translations. Like he just wants to draw her like that for once. It is a bit unfortunate that he chose her but I'm glad it's not part of canon (Hopefully) since this relationship, albeit hentai, is what draws me to his artwork.

Even anime does not dare bring homosexuality out of the classroom 90% of the time as nothing more than a piece of erotica for what is meant to be for heterosexual consumption. That 23 canonically married them is incredibly groundbreaking. it is putting this relationship into a context that benefits him and his viewers nothing and I think a lot of people appreciate that. That she really loves her, and wants to spend her life with her is amazing because it goes against the purpose of hentai for male viewers who would have no interest in a homosexual and unavailable woman. It's as if he is doing something specifically for actual lesbians looking at his art. It's totally unexpected from this genre, but awesome and completely unique.

Even most shoujo-ai stops short of cementing a serious ltr between homosexual couples because it's merely supposed to be a school crush. This is why it's understandably intense for followers of this couple, including myself. we want to think that he knows what he is doing, that it means a lot, and that it's why he keeps on.
