This is an official fanart that was drawn from Tanibe Yumi herself. Because of this I'm unsure how to properly tag Tanibe Yumi as an artist (as she already has a tag for her namie) in this case so anyone that can help with this it appreciated.

It's a sexual gag joke that I recall was made by Akira Toriyama during the original Dragon Ball. Then it was brought back into the Dragon Quest series. Where it ties to imply the same thing, but usually concludes with hilarious results that doesn't imply what we think puff puff is in some cases.

Their costumes are based on... I think Abyssal mooks that showed up in the recent Circus event? I don't know if they have any official name, though...

Yeah, they're quite colorful.

Abyssal Jester Demons

They were just entertainers during the show that added some element to the performance. They appeared on final day of the show. There were 2 of them.

Maybe he's also after the Admiral?

What do we know about this character anyway?

If you read the Great Abyssal Circus - 1BY3H's Adventure in Wonderland page on EN Wiki

http://en.kancollewiki.net/wiki/Great_Abyssal_Circus_-_1YB3H%27s_Adventures_in_Wonderland

You'll fine out that the only thing the Abyssal Chain Clown Demon does is be the narrator in the play for the show. So no he doesn't do anything else specific in the show. But he's already gaining some momentum in popularity in the Japan fanbase.

Odds are given his popularity, especially among the female crowd. He'll spawn some doujins later down the road.

Didn't take long before the clown got fanart of him. I suspect this will be the first of many to come.

For anyone that's been following the whole upcoming KanColle Circus show or don't know the full details. The quickest I can do is run down a short summary of what's coming up.

So on August 3/4 10/11 and 12th. There will be some KanColle live event much similar to that of KanColle on Ice show known as 1YB3H’s Adventures in Wonderland.

Not much is known about the plot other than it'll invovle the Nishimura Fleet and that the circus is being run by Abyssals. And among the abyssals they will once again introduce an all new original live event only Abyssal villain called the Abyssal Chain Clown Demon (深海磨鎖鬼) being played by Masaki Kyomoto, a rather old and famous actor / musician. Strangely enough the word choice they used here for the Abyssal Chain Clown Demon when put together does come out as "Masaki" when put together thus the clever word play here.

Either way figured we might put this guy up now cause once the circus starts moving I'm expecting fanart of this abyssal to pop up sooner or later. Especially since he's pretty much the first male abyssal in the Kancolle series.

I feel like people are forgetting the new Abyssal that's going to be introduced. Known as the Abyssal Chained Clown Demon or Abyssal Masaki depending on what you refer to him as since he's going to be the main host and main antagonist of 1YB3H's Adventures in Wonderland. If you seen his design which was showcased on twitter, he's got Mad Hatter Motif all over him.

Also for anyone that is curious, yes there is going to be a KanColle live event taking place in Early August that will be a circus show known as 1YB3H's Adventures in Wonderland.

Today's the final day to get tickets to the last show which will be held on the 12th.

emm why carpinchos? I do not understand

Because there's a petting zoo/farm for Alpaca and Capybaras outside of the Yokohama Sea Paradise area which KC has decided to also collaborate with. So yeah this is part of the Zuiun / Reppu Festival Collaboration.

About time someone drew this! This pic is a reference to a scene that came directly from the KanColle on Ice show when Uchida Shuu was escorted out on stage in her Warspite cosplay by a destroyer. She was then placed on a chair shaped like the rigging of her ship with skates on the bottom of it and skated across the Ice rink during the show.

I guess yotayota1224 is just dataminer, and this is actually leaked Akira's work. Oh, poor Gamby-chan.

This is actually an image found in YomiuriLand Amusement Park at the Bandit Roller Coaster ride. So no datamining was invovled. Just a good picture taken of her and some simple image editing.

A very possible reference to how the Mitsukoshi 5th Anniversary items sold out insanely fast on the first day.

That cause this illustration is being used for cover of KanColle Sasebo Anthology Vol. 16 which would explain the placement and coloring

The overall evidence so far points to this being a Kai Ni is that.

1. Ichiso mentioned in his tweet that those that got the KC Calander got a nice "Surprise" he left in there as an "Easter Egg"

2. Tanaka's Recent Interview notes that a Shiratsuyu-class DD will be getting a remodel early this year hopefully around January.

3. A Dev tweet just a few days ago mentioned about a "DD that was part of the 4th Torpedo Squadron" (which Murasamae was a part of) that partook in transport operation will get a remodel soon.

So yeah all evidence points to this being an early teaser for something to come very soon.

A slight variation of Sagiri's CG she previously had. Note that it now has a more Fall theme design to it

Kai ni?

No, this is a special CG in relation to the upcoming event since the event will focus on the Surigao Strait. Since most of the Nishimura Fleet have been getting special treatment they decided to make sure Mogami got a piece of the pie as well.

Considering the interview which Megumi Nakajima talked about Mikuma mentioned that even her swimsuit was a nightmare. I wouldn't be surprised if this is the replacement.

But it's also too early to call this since this Swimsuit is part of the Mitsukoshi Collaboration, which may not be permament.

Is that a... roller coaster train?

Damn. I want to play Roller coaster Tycoon now.

Yes, the Dandonpa, a famous roller coaster located in Fuji-Q amusement park. The same location where the KanColle Zuiun Festival has been taking place all through this month and last month.

This is a very interesting take, this entire series of comics is about the events at the Zuiun Festival being presented in comic form. Mainly from the event that took place on the Opening Day June 17th, 2017.

http://en.kancollewiki.net/wiki/Zuiun_Festival#Live_Event:_.22The_Zuiun_Festival_begins.21.22
The Kanmusu in this comic mostly represents the Seiyuu who attended said event.

Hyuuga = Ootsuba Yuka
Kumano = Sarah Emi Bridcutt
Yuudachi = Tanibe Yumi
Warspite = Uchida Shuu
Sazanami = Hyasaka Kousuze
Nenohi = Kobayashi Motoko
Shimushu = Hitomi Sasaki

Additional Fun notes:
There were 4 Taiko Drummers there dressed up as Mogami, Mikuma, Ise, and Hyuuga that partook in a drumming concert at the beginning of the Seiyuus' live event

There were also 4 musicians dressed up as Kongou, Hiei, Kirishima, and Haruna that played some KanColle music via brass instruments.

All these things plus additional details such as the drawing contest and Sarah Emi Bricutt's misinformation of Yuubari Kai Ni (when she meant to say Yura Kai Ni) and the Kanmusu Ondo dance are all summarized here.

I think this would be a great way for readers to get an idea how the live events went down considering how much I learned about this and how Kadokawa went to extensive strides to close off pictures of news press articles due to cooperate privacy reasons.

Either way, I personally would love to see this translated so that every can learn more about the Zuiun Festival, especially since it seems this artist was able to attend all the events on the opening day.

Updated

It is, it's from during when the Kancolle movie was running in theaters in Japan. If you bought tickets to see the movie on certain days, you get a special card that has Commandant Teste featured on it with said image as shown above. There was also an Akagi version as well.
