Friendly fire in video games is off pretty much by default for a reason.
Not in Pen and Paper! Real Gamers play physical forms and use paper, dice, and their brains. Yes, I nearly reached over to strangle the guy out of character for trying to kill me. Very fresh memory. Though sometime later. I did nuke myself one time. I had no choice. Either that or be swarmed by bugs...ugh...
Another example of the reality of tanking in an rpg. 100% aggro rate everything to you while the mage/archer bombs your position. Makes sense in a game, but looks ridiculous in action.
Sounds like 99% of my D&D groups. I always hate playing the tank of the group. And have a crazy wizard that has no problem even nuking with the Cleric in the middle of the fighting. Yeah. I was that Cleric and I nearly killed the Wizard. Took the whole party to stop me.
Now what we need is a version of sensei Iowa pertaining to her tenure as museum ship. Not sure if museum ships can be recalled back to service in cases of emergency. Some changed owners in the process.
It all depends. As I believe the USS Missouri can (don't belive the hilariously awful Battleship movie...bless that movie). Yet don't take my word for it. Though the other two. I don't believe so. As they are private owned.
Really. What navy did Saddam have during Desert Storm? None. Really doubt any of the Iowa Class Battleships had anything to worry about. Only problem. Like pointed out. USS Iowa was badly damaged after an accident. She was never fitted for tomahawk launchers. Now her sister ships were and boy they rained hell down miles away out at sea. Hope they add her sisters in. Though just hope they don't give Missouri a smug personality. Be a bit insulting. As she is a Missouri Girl and she show you how to get things done. (Totally 100% bias remark being a Missouri raised and lived.)
Tirpitz, the Sister Ship of the Bismarck. She was larger and far more powerful than her sister. Yet do to the fact the only drydocks that could hold her were taken out. She was forced to remain in the Northern Theater of the European War.
Regardless of the Royal Airforce attempts to take her out. She was never truely sunk. She was converted into a beached Anti-air placement.
Pretty much ending her career there.
While I believe in the game. She be hell of a battleship with wicked Anti-Air firepower.
I am more interested in how will they portray Willie D. Porter, with her history and all.
Well reading up. Yeah. Really there are a lot of interesting ships.
I am kind of hoping Tirpitz gets added. As for a German Battleship and sister ship to the Bismarck. She was a hell of a tough Battleship. Hell of an AA boat. Or that make the German line up too OP? Lol
Am I the only one that hopes her sisters join in? New Jersey and Missouri are equally famous Battleships of World War 2, Korean War, and ironically enough Desert Storm. Though I just being a tad bais and want to see Missouri more.
If Lore is something that can be reliable to go on. Godzilla would win hands down. As the amount of RADIATION the big lizard gives off would FRY everyone and his breath weapon would add to it.
That is just saying if some Lore is followed. Godzilla's Lore is always messed with.
So a Katana mounted with a 9mm hilt? Does that effectively make the Katana a Gunblade? Which did in fact exist but there are many reasons why it didn't last. Still...she going to shoot or cut us all down this year?
