Just saw it on Steam. If anyone was wondering, the girl in the middle is from a fan-made game called Elegant Impermanence of Sakura. JinguJi Inori is her name.

I had to go check out how long the gohei was, thinking this would be a parody, but nope, that's actually how long it is in the game.

This is so true. It took me over 30 hours combined with Marisa, Reimu and Sanae to clear just the extra stage, and so far I've done that only with Sanae. I've reached Junko once with Marisa, but then got absolutely destroyed till I reached only her second spell card.

Thanks to Reisen's bombs though I've cleared the legacy mode and the extra stage on my first try.

That one page in Forbidden Scrollery where Akyuu says she has only 10 more years to live but she'll do everything in her power to try and prolong her lifespan is the reason she's one of my favorite characters in the series and made me immediately invested in her character. It's always such a nice surprise therefore when I find a story like this while randomly browsing. Thanks for uploading and translating.
