Okay first off, it practically IS fan art. It's fan art of Final Fantasy AND Doom drawn by the official Doom Twitter. Secondly, why would it being official art make it ineligible for approval? There's a crap ton of "official art" on danbooru.

It's "official" art for DOOM ETERNAL. If it wasn't also an FF7 homage, then it would have been official art of a western IP done in a distinctly non-anime style, possibly by a western artist. That is basically the very definition of off-topic for this site.

This was tagged Fukuen Misato (Anzu's VA) on Pixiv but I didn't see any connection so I left that untagged.

On a side note, this was a birthday picture for Anzu even though it doesn't mention it in the picture or the commentary.
