I have stepped on a nail, it went halfway into my leg.

That hurt less somehow.

Still baffles me to this day.

Deeper wounds can often hurt less than shallow ones, because most pain receptors are close to the surface of your body.

It's also a familiar pain to those who play TTRPGs. The d4 dice are basically caltrops.

Doesn't matter the size of the brick, they ALL hurt, especially since your feet have a fair feel pressure-sensitive nerves down there. However, the smaller bricks, hurt even more than the large ones because Caltrops.

There's a REASON those things are memetically a defence against EVERYTHING

You're comparing a fine point to a flat corse bumpy surface. it's like comparing a poke to a punch.

Shitty Admiral

If this is left unchecked, it will embolden the human rights sympathisers, which will, in turn, have an effect on those international bodies that are pressuring Japan in regards to the Shipgirl Treaty.

WTF, so all the Japanese bases are Black Naval Bases?

Sounds more like weapons manufacturing influence. They want to keep the shipgirls as weapons as only then can you really profit from them if they aren't considering a person in the most literal sense. Basically what slavery boils down to. Denying a person a sense of self in order to gain monetary value by debasing them.

It's slavery, but it's more about the war on Abyssals than profits.
The black ones aren't portrayed as pure evil here, mind you.

It wouldn't be out of character.
